Podcast Production Assistant, Who What Wear (temporary)
Who What Wear's podcast team is hiring a Podcast Production Assistant to work across our growing slate of podcasts (Second Life, Who What Wear with Hillary Kerr, and new shows currently in development).

Have a background in storytelling, production, entertainment, journalism, etc.
Have an interest in fashion, beauty, pop culture, entrepreneurship – if you’re a listener, even better!
What you’ll do…
ADMIN:
Guest outreach, booking / scheduling
Upload weekly episodes + tracking tags in our platform Art19
Asana task management for freelancers and interdepartmental requests
Mic kit delivery coordination with guests
TECH:
Learn how we run our virtual recording sessions, and eventually run pre-pro tech checks with guests on your own
RESEARCH + WRITING:
Conduct preliminary research on upcoming guests
Pitch potential guests for each show weekly
Help script episode descriptions and social copy for episode promotion
SOCIAL MEDIA:
Make social graphics and post across our platforms
PAY: $20-25/hr
HOURS: 30-40hrs/wk
ROLE TYPE: contract, 4 months (April - July 2024)
LOCATION: Los Angeles preferred (open to New York City), hybrid

Audio Editor, Who What Wear (Freelance)
Who What Wear's podcast team is hiring a freelance Audio Editor to work across our growing slate of podcasts (Second Life, Who What Wear with Hillary Kerr, and new shows currently in development).

Have a background in storytelling, production, entertainment, journalism, etc.
Have an interest in fashion, beauty, pop culture, entrepreneurship – if you’re a listener, even better!
What you’ll do…
Edit 1-3 full-length podcast episodes per week using ProTools
Clean up stumbles, and use editorial judgement to make content cuts and create engaging episodes
Cut 1.5 hour recordings to 50-60 min episodes
Cut hour long recordings to 25-35 min episodes
Edit host-read intros/outros for each episode and ads as needed
Work with Producer/Sr. Producer to make additional edits after their initial QC
Send ProTools sessions to our audio engineers and coordinate any notes about sound quality
Meet strict weekly deadlines
*Bonus points if you can video edit!*
PAY: $100-200 per episode, depending on length of raw audio
(Pay is based on an hourly rate of $30/hr with the expectation that you can edit at a pace of 4x the length of the raw audio or faster!)
HOURS: 1-3x episodes a week
ROLE TYPE: Freelance, ongoing
LOCATION: Remote
